Hello! It is nice to meet you! My name is Jennifer and I taught on VIPKID for three years. I love being an English teacher. I have taught over 3,000 classes with Vipkid and had almost 3,000 5-apple reviews. Teaching kids is my passion! I am very caring, and love to see my students having fun. I pay very close attention to grammar and pronunciation.  

I have a bachelor’s degree from Meredith College in Psychology and Education. I have over 20 years of teaching experience at the K-12 levels as well as several years teaching adults ESL. I have worked with children of varying ages and in a variety of settings. I have classroom, and virtual teaching experience. I am trained in Classical Education, focusing on the Socratic Teaching Method, which taught me to ask questions to help students think and answer. I am TESOL trained and certified. 

I am also the mom of three children. My daughter graduated college with honors, my oldest son is in his 3rd year of college and my youngest son is in the 8th grade. My family lives in the southern state of North Carolina in a small town outside of the capitol, Raleigh. I live in the middle of a pine tree forest🌲 My favorite thing to do is cook. I love to try new recipes! I also like to do home projects with my husband.
